-The French are way more responsible for removing Gadaffi than Obama. Sarkozy pushed for military intervention, Sarkozy went to the U.N and said what gaddafi was doing was a international crime against humanity. It was Sarkozy who pushed for the no fly zone. Sarkozy wanted boots on the ground ( Obama was weary of this because of his anti Iraq positions) and backed off of that.


- The second point of his statement is just as idiotic. Obama got rid of the most undocumented immigrants in history. So now I got to for Hispanics now? So now we should open our borders now right?

I get the Coli-tics and their stance on Obama's racial identity and policy, that's not what I'm here to dispute, but this is an example of "correlation does not imply causation". Under Gaddafi there were prison massacres, restriction of access to media, prohibition of protest/expression that gave clearance to Libyan Government ruled by Gaddafi to kill demonstrators, to name a few incidents from a "leader" who died the same way he himself came to prominence.

This is Black people becoming american i.e. meddling in the affairs of other countries, naively thinking it's a cut-dry issue just like many are doing right now with Syria, failing to recognize that every outcome will be fukked up.

I struggle to see how bombing a country 496 times in one year helps to create conditions in favor of that country, which is paradoxical regardless because I'm sure the solution to combating and destroying this slave market involves bombing and killing just as well.

The sad reality of it is all of us that live in foreign nations have been tryna tell them the risks and dangers that they'll face if they try going down that path. The issue in Libya isn't the first issue African migrants have faced. People forget that there's been a whole organ trafficking business in the Sinai region for like 5+ years now that preys on East African migrants especially. Everybody in Eritrean knows about this, but the rate of Eritreans escaping and taking that route hasn't really gone down in the past couple of years.
