No. That’s what a robust transit system would be for. Who’s going to work in a 3 pc suit to begin with? We don’t have to use these absurd hypotheticals to rebuke replies brotha. Y’all act like these people are on century ridesWould you ride a bike going to your office job in a 3 piece suit? Would you ride your bike at 115 degree heat in July? Would you ride your bike going to the club, bagging a shorty and going home with her?
That’s less than 2 miles per dayIt’s common knowledge that the Dutch take cycling seriously, but it’s interesting to look at some numbers. The average daily distance cycled per person in the Netherlands is between 2.19 – 2.73km. Cycling is a very normal thing to do in the Netherlands, and this is largely thanks to the investment in infrastructure and education there.

This is a local election issue. Vote for candidates who want to invest in public transportation and walkability.
There's a ton of housing that can be built on these mega parking lots and keep in mind a lot of these highways destroyed black neighborhoods.
City design is a HUGE factor in things like climate change, housing, air quality, health(think about the amount of time you spend sitting) etc.
I highly suggest that people take the energy they would be spending being outraged by the federal government theyre stuck with for at least the next 4 years and redirect it into local politics. You should be well informed on who is actually running the city and state you reside in.
Bikes can be equipped with attachments, I know that sounds crazy and for the other scenarios you’d have public transportation, they go hand and hand in societies that are built around each other. How do your travel in snowstorm and rain? How do you even get groceries? You ride a bike at 2am after the club???
