Man I am sick of fukking hear this bullshyt parroted. Just because every fukker on roster can do a suicide dive
You can count on one hand the wrestlers who can cut a good promo and everyone pretty much wrestles the same style. All the talk of the roster having all these great wrestlers but the main roster has barely had any GREAT matches this year. If anything the women have been picking up the slack. The men have been vanilla as fukk. Now some of this is bad booking and how the talent is neutered, but man some of these guys just ain't that good.
People tell me Seth Rollins is a great wrestler. Where's the receipts? Where are the great matches and promos, and no I'm not talking about some indierrific bullshyt with Ziggler on Raw that people forget about by the time Smackdown is on.
On paper, the best roster they ever had was around 02/03 - you still had the attitude era big stars (yes stars, remember them?) like Rock and Austin, pre-flabby Taker, then you had GREAT wrestlers, Benoit, Jericho, Guerrero, Angle, Mysterio etc, then guys who were beginning to jump from WCW; Flair, Hoegan, Goldberg, Booker, among many others, plus the new crop of stars like Brock, Cena, Orton. The roster was STACKED, and not only had technical talent but actual stars. Even if I still think this era was when the quality started to fall off.
But I'd easily take 2000 era WWF over now as well....Rock, Austin, Foley, the best version of HHH, the Radicalz, Angle, a lit tag team division etc.
