What the fukk is the "middle class?"

Well they were a professional/skilled class of workers and small business owners who were largely eradicated between 1970-2010.

The lack of meaningful wage increases and benefits saw their numbers quickly dwindle along with the the mortgage crisis and Wall Street speculation that saw their savings and assets wiped out.

Now with cost of living increases, specifically rent and the inflated housing prices they're largely a debtor class.

I would say there are some middle class people left who managed to hold onto their homes and job but they're few and far between like moderate conservatives.
