In general, however, boy bands just don't have the clout like they used to in a western market. BTS have a international fanbase so their game goes beyond Asia and the US. They are on a global scale and can manage to sell out anywhere they go.

These non-singing R&B cats unless Drake or Weekend ain't got shyt on these BTS guys in terms of video production, promotion and international fanbase the maximum that these US cats have are usually Europe and sometimes a very small fanbase in Asia(Japan) YG, SM and the other Korean labels really know how to invest in their artists.
