Do you really want to read them damn books?:aicmon: You could always wait till you get old to join. Become spiritual when sin is fun brehs.

MashAllah means praise be to god breh

Islam certainly gives peace of mind when followed properly. It is a good way to live. :wow:

If you want to convert to Islam you have to go and take shahada which is essentially a declaration of faith that there is no god except Allah and Muhammad pbuh was his final messenger.

Your local mosque would help you in this regards.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask

Your dreams
I then started thinking that every good Muslim I know irl has peace of mind. Why's that? They aren't even bothered by the little things I or my friends fret about all day. I just want a simpler life

Gonna research the religion online for a week and then speak to a few people, and then go to a Mosque and speak to the Imam and if by then I'm not 100% convinced I won't convert.

Will report back.

Are you feeling the call from God/Allah or you like the lifestyle?

If you're not trolling then I implore you to seriously research and understand what you are getting involved in before you even step foot into a masjid (mosque). Once you recite the shahada (the testimony or recitation of faith) you are binding yourself to a very different set of guidelines than you or a lot of people are not used and will struggle with if you're not fully prepared. Again, after you've read and researched the religion from multiple sources and examined if Islam has the answers for you ONLY THEN would I recommend you proceed to meet with an Imam and further discuss your journey.

This seems rushed to me breh, I got interested in Buddhism at 13 and converted at 21, when I really knew for sure this was my path. Like people said, start with reading the Quran, go to the mosque and online for any questions you might have and just follow your heart and mind in this. Setting a timeline to be convinced just makes you cut corners in answering some complex questions. Not saying it should take years, just take your time breh, it's much less painfull tot convert at a later date then to regret your conversion.
