This isnt even a hot take, you can make a strong case right now he is playing at a top 5 level, he is already better than the likes of anthony edwards, ja morant, banchero, booker etc. The only players ahead of wembanyama right now are giannis, jokic, doncic, shai, and embiid when healthy, after that a strong case can be had against any other player in the league base on his play this season
