Stringer flirts with Donette the first time they see each other, in either the first or second episode of the show.

Cheese’s last name was originally Flagstaff. Then the show changed it to Wagstaff, and David Simon said he’s Randy’s father. Prop Joe also had another nephew working for him. Lester says the nephew is “on his mama’s side” and the other cops start laughing.

Michael can tell early on about how Randy and Namond are. Randy gets a light punishment for something at school and Michael asks him something like “did the principal have you do something, or say something, to get a lighter punishment?”.

Michael gets annoyed throughout the season that Namond is too much talk and no action.

In the first scene, Michael’s already shutting him down because of his big mouth.



And then later on, Namond starts recreating the scene of the girl getting her face sliced up, pretending to slice Dukie, and Dukie gets annoyed. Namond goes “I’m just saying, it was fukked up” and Michael tells him “that’s all you ever do, just say things”.

I wonder, did the Baltimore school district experiment with the bad children like they did in Season 4 of the show?

I also would love to see a documentary so we could see which parts were based in reality of what went on in the Balitmore streets and what parts were just fictionalized.

If you watch the show, Chris was the brains and the muscle of the Stanfield operations. Most of the time Marlo did whatever Chris thought the best idea was.

Chris feared Marlo. The jail scene where Marlo batted up everyone in the cell for mot telling him about Omar proved that. Marlo was a killer as well. He put one in each breast of Avon's chick before he popped her in the mouth. Took on those kids in the last episode. They made Chris out like he was ex military, but he feared Marlo.
