King of the ring 98

After getting tossed off the cell twice, mankind still did a run in in the Austin/Kane match! :what:

There was a spot where mankind was in the middle of taker and Austin, and they swung a chair at him and he ducks out of the way so Austin got the worst of it.....had he not ducked on time, he would've gotten a conchairto! :what:

Also, I never realized how early in the casket match between HBK/Taker at the RR did the injury occur. It happened in the first 5-7 minutes in a 20 minute match!

Still goin through the 1993 Raw's

Even though he was still in good shape, I'm assuming since he probably wasn't juicing as hard as he had been, Hulk Hogan somehow looked :flabbynsick:

Rocking a plain red bandana during his promo made it look worse to me:ehh:
I peeped that! Right around when the steroid allegations were going on and he was'nt on TV anymore and it was right before KOTR when he was about to jump ship

I'm like damn....Hogan looks like shyt...it must have either really taken a toll on him or he was cycling or something

The difference in Hogan from WM 7 to 8 to 9 is crazy.

Bob Caudle is the worst commentator ever. Absolutely WORTHLESS. Him and Schivone on Starrcade 85 :scust:

Billionaire Ted gave two fukks about steroids...all that mattered was ratings and embarrassing Vince

Which leads me to my next thought: Dog...Vince REALLY had it out for these cats in 97

The little vignettes with the "Nacho Man" and the "Huckster"? The shyt really put the Montreal Screwjob in perspective. He was deathly afraid of taking that L to Ted Turner and it showed.

• I didn't realize that WWE had tracy dali on smackdown and actually shot an angel with her having an affair with Undertaker. Calling him Mark and shyt :mindblown:

• How funny the skits with Brian Kendrick were. They are kinda doing the same thing with Slater right now

• Brock's heel run in 2003 is underappreciated :whew:

• If HLA were to happen today, WWE would be eviscerated by the media

THE BANDANA WAS PERMANENTLY SOAKED WITH BLOOD DUE TO A HARDWAY BLADE JOB FROM SARGE THAT REQUIRED FIFTY EIGHT STAPLES TO CLOSE AND SECURED THE BANDANA TO MY HEAD UNTIL THE FIRES OF MOUNT DOOM (OF DUNGEON FAME) COULD MELT THEM, BROTHER!

Francine is front row wearing white on Raw in 93. I think it's episode 27. Just noticed her stand up after Doink beat some jobber:ehh:

Just noticed Linda McMahon sitting behind commentary when Doink is cutting an after match promo on Macho too
Hell of a sighting.

Speaking of crowds, we talked about them but its absolutely insane how Vladimir and faith no more guy were in the front of damn near EVERY MAJOR PPV and every raw in new York area for like two decades. How are they both at fukkin summerslam 96, ECW ons, fnmg at the front of every ECW ppv ever, and so on

They're so fukkin lucky to seen that history

-Its amazing how Paul got that collection of crap in ECW over. I just checked Living Dangerously 98(saw the thread) and holy shyt. It seems like after the good workers left for WCW/WWF, their quality just plummeted. Every match was shyt spot, rest, shyt spot, rest, shyt spot. Didn't matter if its Taz, RVD, Bigelow, Sandman, etc. Just no flow at all. I think only Lance Storm was the only solid thing on that show and he wrestled in a two minute main event match that only served to get Al Snow over(who also bolted soon after lol)

-I think the true turning point for WCW was summer 99 when Hogan went back face. He was just as awful as when he first came in. Watching FB 99 and the storyline with Sting/Luger. I don't even remember the build but its clear from all the vingettes/promos they were turning Sting. Awful. The show sucks balls. Most of their midcard just said fukk it by then. Rey and Eddie in the opening just going through the motions trying to work with ICP. Beniot trying to work with Sid(who had an undefeated streak for some reason) You also got Duggan, Rick Steiner, and out of shape Windham bros. Main event is pure crap of typical mult man run ins.

-Speaking of Booker, I think he was a much better worker in WCW. He did a lot more and worked much faster. Harlem Heat was always over btw.
