You stupid Murican.:mjlol:

You can't just buy any mask. The mask relates to your ancestors' tribe. First you have to seek where you are from before you adopt an identity, lost child.:francis:

Africa is a huge place.:mjlol:
Silly post. In an effort to talk down to people, you are instead exposing yourself.
Largest home collections of African art that I've seen was at the home of an Ewe couple, and it included art and artifacts from the entire Ghana/Togo/Burkina Faso area. Including masks.

Try again.

You Muricans, man. :russ::mjlol::dead:

Just because you are black doesn't mean you can just have any mask you like. :mjlol:

For, example a white Murican CAC who doesn't know where in Europe his ancestors came from so decides to adopt the culture of Italy when he's blond and most likely Dutch. You see, the point I'm trying to make is that just because you slightly look like your from somewhere doesn't mean you are. I didn't say you can't buy the mask and respect the culture but just to buy it just because you watched a film is very insincere and no better than the CACs who sold it to you in the first place.

In the Caribbean we never lost our identity or our roots, you lost child. :ufdup:

It isn't! But imagine buying this shyt now for $500. Some of these mask are selling in the thousands dating back from the early 1900s.

Plus I just think it's cool to have a piece of African art.
Then walk in there like Killmonger and scoop it off of them :demonic:

I’m an Igbo man. You don’t even know who your ancestors are from but you’re insulting African-Americans. Iberibe anuofia

The fact that you think that your post would only be offensive to "Americans", is your first strike
the fact that you're saying that a(ny) Caribbean culture of composite African ethnicities never lost identity or roots is the second strike
the fact that you are saying this to a man with 2 Haitian parents and from a similar culture of composite African ethnic identities is the 3rd strike.
