There's a store near me that sells men's clothes and some small trinkets the home, colognes, and other stuff. They have a selection of vintage stuff. I was looking at some of the stuff they had on their website and saw something interesting...

An African Mask from Burkina Faso circa early 90s.

Considering this is a more of a Southwest influenced store that doesn't really have many black folks come in I'm surprised they had it. It makes me want it even more because I doubt someone else would appreciate it. I sorta feel like Killmonger taking back artifacts that were once ours It would make a good addition to my place and an interesting story. It will set me back a few hundred but may be worth it.

My parents have some African American art and I have a piece from my dad. I know Africa is big but I have no earthly idea where my ancestors came from other than Africa. It would at least be some form of connectedness.

It isn't! But imagine buying this shyt now for $500. Some of these mask are selling in the thousands dating back from the early 1900s.
