I'm talking about a legit well-funded challenger, I thought the dude challenging her wasnt a muslim.

I thought Ilhans true economic base was the Somalian community that values the family structure. That's why I'm genuinely wondering if a challenger from that community got legit financial support, could they beat her. Are the kids with her or the dad?

That YT dude seems shady as fukk, cant believe he broke up that family. They seemed nice too, I remember the NPR interviews.

Her district, the 5th of MN is actually majority white, like 67%. It's 17% black which includes some of the neighborhoods where there's Somalis but you have plenty of African Americans too..

The Somali community isn't the engine that's fueling her campaign. They certainly helped her win the nomination in 2018. They helped Keith Ellison in 2006 win his first primary too.

As far as I know, her kids are with her. They relocated to the DC Area. Her ex-husband and father of the kids got married to a Somali girl in Somalia about a month or so after the divorce was final.
