It's still early guys. These last few days were fukking rough but it's still early.

As long as deGrom's injury doesn't turn into something way worse like usually happens with Mets than I'm all good.

Harvey needs to get sent down tho.

Harvey was the only bright spot for the Mets when he came up. Had TJ surgery, exceeded his innings limit and still was damn good. Should have won two games in the WS. Now I see why Strasburg sat out the playoffs at Boras' advice. He put his client first and still got paid. I'll be rooting for Matt wherever he goes.

Like I said, DFA status. The drop off after the surgeries was immense.

:francis:

I think both sides are to blame in all of this. I read the Mets have 7 days to trade him, I hope we can get a bench player or some shyt. :snoop:

It was the Thorasic outlet syndrome, there's no coming back from that.
This. It didn't matter how many innings he put on his arm, his shoulder was a ticking time bomb and it went off in 2016. Pitchers DO NOT recover from shoulder injuries, they just don't, occasionally you get extraordinarily lucky and you have a guy who can string along 2 years of just above average play before they just don't have the stuff anymore to hack it.

Harvey's fall isn't his fault and it isn't anything he did to blame for it, this is just depressing and sad. He deserved better. This franchise deserved better.

I wish him nothing but the best and I hope that he finds himself again with his new team, I really do.
