If there was another capable SS on the roster, Rosario wouldn't be able to start regularly until he learns better plate discipline. Another wasted opportunity where they are few tonight.
A lineup without Conforto feels so helpless especially with Cespedes struggling this much.

We nee TJ Rivera to get healthy again. I didn't even realize that he was put on the 60 day DL. When he gets back, Reyes gets DFA'd. We won't have to rely on Amed to produce every day. We can shift Cabrera to short and put TJ in at 2nd part time.

Realmuto isn't a savior, but in a league where catching is bad across the board, he's a huge upgrade over what the Mets have.

Regardless of what happens tonight guys, it's still early, we knew it was gonna be a dogfight against the Nats. We just swept their asses so can't get too down over this series even tho that first game was some fukking bullshyt. Hopefully we don't regret losing these games to their injury riddled squad later on, but we knew the rest of the NL east was where we would have to get our Ws.
