Just realized y'all traded for a young kid from my hometown last year in Jamie Callahan...he was pretty good in high school which doesn't mean much considering the lack of talent in the area, but is he even figuring into the team at all? I just remember him being a middle of the road prospect for the Red Sox the last few years....

My only bit of hope is the possibility that our pitching staff actually becomes what we dreamed they would be heading into last season.

A man can dream...

That's way too high:patrice:...

I got burned last year with a pitching heavy approach..almost everyone got injured

Never again:heh:

I went offense heavy and got burned by everyone and their mother hitting 20 jacks.

This league I’m in is too complex to fully explain and there’s a bunch of Mets fans in it, so Thor might not even make it to 5th overall (salary cap league and he’s not worth anything).

I’ll probably just take Bumgarner and load up on bats after

Nimmo out here winning the CF job, Harvey looking serviceable, DeGrom healthy, Matz about to be the Ace of the 51s and Rosario is out of the lineup again today.

All things considered not bad :yeshrug:

He's still a valuable BP piece if he can't hack it starting TBH, we have the Gazelle, Lugo, and Wheeler in the second half as insurance. His stuff will play better in the pen too.

I'm optimistic. I like the mix of veterans and young guys. It's all depending on the pitchers staying healthy. They do that, we win the wild card at least. Maybe even the division.

Thor Cy young
Yo top 5 mvp
Solid seasons from our vets(Reyes, Cabrera, Frazier and Bruce)
Solid production from conforto and Nimmo

Healthy rotation and solid BP and we will surprise some haters.

Of course it's all dependent on health as always.

Harvey supposedly decent and folks is saying the rotation is looking good, is it time to get excited about this team again?
