Now I'm gonna twist the knife a little - they made Joel "brown" gave him.a mixed race daughter but in the end they leave ellie white ....

So once again you have a tired old Hollywood trope where a black ( or in this case brown ) character is "saving/protecting" a white character who is a "savior" for the human Race...

She hasnt had an opportunity to show if she's "killing it" yet. That wont happen until after meeting *****. There will be moments during the Bill/Henry/Sam episodes but no heavy lifting to showcase a killing until after the plant. I think she'll do fine though.
