Of course the ATL
The rankings are accurate imo. Avxl thinks the sky is falling as usual.

For as much as he doesn't like our front office. We haven't made stupid deals like nurkic and 1st for plumlee. We haven't been in the lottery enough to have many busts.

Complain about letting horford go for nothing but at the same time roast horford in other threads about how he is the 2nd highest paid player, brehs

Oochie wally or one mic? @AVXL

I don't think the sky is falling. However this team has made poor personnel decisions in the past couple of seasons that have contributed to the mediocre product we see on the court, unless of course you like seeing a team drop from 60 wins to 48 wins to probably a game or two over .500 in just 2 seasons.

And yes I can criticize Horford for being an overpriced bum and still criticize the Hawks for not having a game plan on Horford b/c they clearly didn't. When BOS outbid us for him, we were caught flat footed, got Wop as the backup plan and even considered trading Sap to clear cap space so Al could come back. Smart front offices don't find themselves in those types of situations and players/agents pay attention to that type of shyt

Now the Hawks are faced with another huge decision on Sap and I'm not sure they've learned there lesson on a player's market value and what to do if that player prices himself outta town.

You keep making this circular argument but you never say what your solution would be. I list the options we had with horford and all you say is they should've made the right choice:hhh:

No matter what decision they make you always gon hate it breh:francis:

So ESPN has been ranking the top coaches in the NBA & top management

Bud is at 11 as coach
The Hawks management is at 14 overall

Y'all agree with that assessment? Seems correct for coaching, probably a bit generous on management but not too far off
For management, it's a tad high. I think 11th is fair for Bud. His system worked with Al, as it is, not so much and to be frank, I rated him high as a coach for the season when we had Sap without Al for most of the year. He adjusted to the personnel. I feel like he hasn't this year and it makes for bad Basketball

Sign and trade Horford to BOS, dont lose good players from your team for nothing
I wouldn't have resigned WOAT under any circumstances let alone for 4 years at $70 million

The Teague trade was a good one and it netted us Prince
Wop was a nice pickup
Signing Dennis was the right move

Every decision the Hawks made hasn't been bad, they've made some good decisions. But they've also made bad decisions that have turned them from a Eastern Conference Contender to "fringe contender" to playoff also ran in two years. You don't get to where we are without consistently making poor player personnel decisions

See now I can agree with all that. Only thing is boston had no incentive to sign n trade for horford given that they were way below the cap.

I will say this is a big summer for management. 2 key free agents, 3 if you count ilyasova. They have infused the wings with young talent recently with thjr, prince, and bembry. Now I want to see if they can add a talented young big in the draft. No more muscala and Mike scott types.

Bud has to feel like major changes are needed after how this season has turned out
