Some of the high end nightclubs got dress codes, some won't let you in if you not dressed to a certain standard.

Nightclubs in the hood would let you in dressed in any type of outfit

You not getting in high end nightclubs wearing Jordans

None of the people posted in any of those photos were stylish (for that era) at all. There were way better examples to show of better dressers back then. Those people wouldnt know how to dress in this era either. :yeshrug:
I was managing or promoting for some of the biggest clubs in Atlanta, LA and TAO (in Vegas) during this time.
