Unless they were living here for a few months I highly doubt they came up and randomly saw Alpo just chilling at 3 am.

Another theory that could make me believe it was out of towners was the fact he was killed by a police station. Don’t think most NY cats are stupid enough to pull to that off.
That’s regular lol

Lil Tjay’s hood (Slattery) is right by the police station

Edenwald projects is right by the police station

shyt be happening in the Broadway Junction train station and there’s a damn police station inside

Alpo was in one of the grimiest parts of Harlem right by Polo Grounds projects :wow:

It wasn’t no OT people and I doubt him getting killed had anything to do with him snitching but probably recent foul shyt he did

Po been on the streets since 2015... There's no way he didn't have some interview/documentary stashed away. There's gotta be something.

We know Troy Reed is sitting on that doc where he's discussing the Rich Porter murder, but I think Troy is too shook to release it. He caught hell from Pat and Rich's peoples for the little bit that did get leaked...

As I said before if you listen to his past interviews

He seemed like he made" peace" with the situation n he just was waiting for it , lived the last years out as much as he could in the faces of people who hated him

No matter what way you look at it I actually applaud him for that

Wasn't shook one bit, seemed like he wanted to die right in harlem

I agree, but you don't realise how dumb that mindset is until you're shot up, trying to keep air in your lungs while your body is shutting down.

He could have had a nice lifestyle off his story and been chilling on beaches and shyt for the rest of his life. The people around him not pushing him to do legit moves is so :mindblown: to me. There's way more money in legit ventures than the drug game.

Even though he deserved it, it's kind of sad in that end of an era way. Late 80s babies and below all came up reading the feds magazine shyt and then paid in full.

Above the fray.
H
This is hip-hop

Alpo lived the life most of the rappers talk about and influenced alot of NYC Street culture, snitching or not

For the dudes who are in that lifestyle, Po solidified his 80s/90s reputation by coming home and showing his face on the same streets. Outside, not hiding.
"He can't show his face" "He can't step foot in Harlem" and all that hood dvd talk/threats when he was locked up and he went right back to riding bikes and wheelying in the streets.

Streets are a myth.

The thing that gets me in all of this is the Rich Porter narrative.

He was a murdering, scheming scum bag as well.

He also should have paid the boy's ransom asap because his lifestyle is what got him kidnapped. He was either being stingy or he was frontin' about how much money he had and wasting it all on portraying the image. If it was the latter, he should have been begging his people for loans.

Even most of the other dudes on that level that get out, still have one foot in and one foot out. Or they have the foot out, but their toes standing on the line. It's hard for most to leave that life alone 100%, and go to being regular folks.

I mean if you get shot in your chest you are gonna gap for air no matter if you wanna die or not lol

going by the way he talks /his character him sitting and hiding was never going to happen

he accepted him fate, as he said" you can stay in the house all day and night and still die

now obviously I would of one what you said lol

but we are all unique people :yeshrug:

History is written by the victors. Paid in Full showed that Mitch (Rich) caught a body, so he wasn't a saint. Getting killed by your man is par for the course in that line of work. That's the game and it's why it's not for everyone.
