jerry and al davis have been very close throughout their nfl tenures... i guess the same can't be said for al's son... but mark davis will not relinquish control until they get their new stadium, thus increasing the franchise's value. as i've said all along, mark davis needs to get this done asap for his family to walk away with equitable profit from the franchise. they have sold so much minority percentages and there's that family who owns a large majority as well.

Really sad. Oakland is the true home of the Raiders, I mean the Vegas thing is nice but I'd rather see the team stay in Cali. Plus, not to sound like a Greenpeace member but I don't like the environmental implications a stadium would have overall. I mean, the water supply feeding Vegas is already in danger so I can't imagine adding a huge football stadium will help things.

NFL owners just need to stop being gay and let the only Superbowl winner in LA's history come back to town, or Mark needs to grow a pair and do what Al did and move there anyway. :manny:

The money aspect of Las Vegas is too intriguing.

Max on ESPN LA was talking about this.

Raiders to go Las Vegas they become an international team. People from all over come to Vegas "oh yeah I went to Vegas we caught a Raiders game after throwing 20,000 away on craps and hookers" You start seeing Raiders jerseys all over the world. If they were to win a title it'd be a wrap.

That's the only reason why I can live with it. There are a lot of benefits for the team, I just feel like the perfect situation is staying in Oakland or going to LA.

Chargers in play for Las Vegas if Raiders don't work out

In this interview with Darren Smith of The Mighty 1090 AM radio, Las Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman says that if the Raiders do not work out as a tenant in her city, the Chargers could be a possibility to relocate to Las Vegas if Chairman Dean Spanos does not find a stadium solution in San Diego.

Raiders owner Mark Davis met with the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee on April 28 and pledged $500 million toward the construction of a $1.4 billion, 65,000-seat domed stadium.

Goodman had been a 40-year Chargers season ticket holder, but did not renew her tickets for the 2016 season. Goodman said she would love to see the Chargers in Las Vegas if the Raiders do not relocate there, and the Chargers do not get anything done in San Diego.

“Of course, being passionate Chargers fans all these years and putting our money where our mouth was, of course I would love to see them here,” Goodman said. “And timing, whether it was the Rams, or Oakland or the Chargers, this was the time. So being on a selfish, personal level of course I would rather have the Chargers here. I wouldn’t have to drive 5 ½ hours to get to you … but Oakland here is something that is really viable.”

So the Chargers are pretty much blocking LA and SD for now, and they wanna shot at Vegas? :heh:

How about these fakkits just make up their mind and stay that way we can overtake LA
