Funny Boondocks/Undercover Brother inspired conspiracy comedy.
Foxx and Teyonnah were silly as hell

Thought the interesting part in the music scene, was that it was a white person right?

The DJ switched from options like Rick Ross, Rihanna, to something like

Rickey Ricky, and it sounded really generic, like the kind of Post Malone type of hit record

Don't know if to me it was masterful criticism or satire, but I got it.

and not just brain washing, but complacency was what I got from that. Think about being in a strip club is kind of like that, and I kind of like strip clubs, \ but there's a certain lack of thought being encouraged with music about nothing but super extreme views on sex, violence, money. Over and over and over again.

Just finished it

It was really good but not earth shattering. If you’ve seen Tales From The Hood and mixed in a little Jordan Peele you have this movie.

The third act was great though. John Boyega, Jamie Foxx, and Teyonah Parris were PERFECTLY cast and had excellent chemistry. Boyega is a great actor. The scene with him
Breaking down because he discovered his mother was fake was really good

I'm usually pretty good about suspending my disbelief, but the fact they were continuously able to break into the lab so easy ruined the movie for me.

How can they afford all that tech and staff for the science shyt but not have armed security?! :what:
Maybe the whites felt that the Black people were so easy to manipulate & control that they didn't need armed security.
Think about people who own a dog, but don't have a fence around their yard. They foolishly believe that the dog is so well trained that it will never stray from their yard.
Underestimating the brehs & brehettes helped lead to whitey's downfall.
