By what metrics? TBH any era was FULL of trash if you look at shyt objectively. Whats even worse is the 1s carrying the torch more often that not don't have the accolades or finances they deserved from their work.

Like someone like Skillz who ain’t got the right to talk down on anyone’s shyt like some elitist takes pride in “never listening to an entire OutKast” record. I think you looking at shyt through rose tinted glass Breh....I love music....I could site plenty of examples of any genre from 98 and before who had serious success.
