I'll let it slide. R.I.P. Shock G but I'm not gonna front like that Humpty Hump routine wasn't cringe-worthy to me.

I was in HS during the Soulja Boy era. Yes, Crank Dat still gets parties live for folks round my age (early 30s) but so does Humpty Hump. These nikkas just weird now a days. Hip-Hop is the only Genre where people try to compare and bring down past generations, like nikka, that song was made in 1990 and they was making lanes so folks that we got now can run, plus if you wanna keep it truthful, Shock G was a hell of a producer and artist to me. Digital Underground put out a lot of classics on one album for real.

Kiss Me Back and 2 Legit 2 Quit were 2 of the first hip hop songs I remember hearing.. Digital Underground are held in high regards wit me and they introduced the Real Goat to the world..Rip Shock G
To be fair, there’s a lot of kids who were introduced to hip hop by Soulja too. :yeshrug: The game doesn’t change, just the participants.
