1.Thats county jail, not prison.

2.Volunteers knew they where there for a limited stay and could gave left at anytime.

3. He went to the hole trying to be cool fukking with them cameras.

He figured out he was in a safe zone being in solitary confinement, rather than being a normal person in gen pop.

Once he found out he was going back to gen pop, he got "sick", wound up going to the hospital where there was nothing actually wrong with him and denies it being psychosomatic.

He didnt master anything cept wasting people time.

Robert would had been the type to goto pc at the first hint of trouble.

every episode that hes part of. he just doesnt seem to care. he might love her and be a great husband but from how he's portrayed on the show he just seems like he knocked her up when she was young and is stuck. any time she seems hype about something he's just like whatever...any time she called him he was not interested....when she said she was out he just said "im happy for you " like he isnt affected by any of it...dude didnt even have the kids when she got out. he been chillin for 2 months cheating on her.

And it worked. Not only did he shorten his stay by not being involved in drug use, assault, etc. He managed to actually enjoy his stay.

He figured out he was in a safe zone being in solitary confinement, rather than being a normal person in gen pop.

This is called a win.

Robert found a way to work the system, and further exhibited how easy it is to manipulate and scam his way into a "pleasant" stay in prison. The cop spazzed, the chubby geek got punched in the nose and extorted, and the black kid devolved into doing drugs and learning nothing from said experience.
