I'm actually more interested in what the Packers do on defense. Last time they tried to follow the Cardinals game plan of selling out against the run and let Jimmy beat them, which he did handily. Do they try the same shyt that didn't work last time?
And Mostert was juuust beginning to become a primary weapon back then (he was the only one that did damage on the run that SNF game). Now we have Coleman coming from his best game in 3 months and Mostert way more ingrained in the offense. It seems his calf injury isn't a big worry.
I do hope Breida has a couple of huge runs and doesn't fumble the ball, it's his turn to shine man
Nah, it’s a smart move. This is to go to the Super Bowl so you do whatever you gotta do.
I fully expect the Packers to try and establish the run so they can play action bootleg like the Rams did. The Vikings were going to try the same thing but they couldn’t run the b-ball whatsoever.
The defense has also shown much better preparation for bootlegs after that Rams game. We've also played better against screens. I expect Rodgers to have a good performance because it's a huge game and there's no way LaFleaur doesn't find SOMETHING to hurt us with. But our defense being completely healthy and no Ahkello to get torched (that would've been a huge X factor in this rematch), it's an ever bigger beast than the last SNF game so whatever LaFleur has in mind might just not be enough.
