Because they know Sherman ain't long for the league anymore and they feel like they gotta get him the bruises so he can be better and the #1 when that time comes. I hate that because it means they aren't gonna look to shore up the CB spot, which is problematic because Witherspoon is a giant target and the more exposure he gets, the more teams are gonna gameplan in his direction.
