Im just annoyed with the timing of the move and the choice.

To me this was a fukkboy. I’m not complaining saying it’s illegal or unfair. But I do think it’s a fukk boy move and it really awoken me and reminded me why I can’t stand the Seahawks, their coach’s, their FO and etc.

This was the lamest biggest fukkboi move to make at the 11th hour:pacspit:
Man. My bad but I can't see what the big deal is. 49ers are a way better team. It shouldn't matter who is back there. If they lose, it's on them. It actually looks even worse because here is two washed up RB's and the Niners still don't win. :mjtf:

It's more understandable if he was still in his prime. Looking at how he looked last year with the Raiders.:scust: Niners need to be smacked if they let that washed up bum eat.

I know that Bar None Jersey was FIRE
I got the most attention with that one cuz most people don't have fullback jerseys. Plus living in FL, people loved how Floyd got a ring with the Noles and a ring with the Niners the next year. :wow:

100% agree. If Beast Mode has an old school Beast Mode that's completely on us. We can't let them have this Disney movie moment when we have a healthier team than last time and we have the film to get better.

Saleh has gone back to :francis: status the last 3 weeks. He better come up with something because if Schotty Jr. runs all over us and destroys us running bootlegs for Russ then we truly deserve an L and a Wildcard spot.

Seattle's will probably play just to troll us out of the bye and is more banged up. If we go out there and get beat then shiiiit :martin:

Yea, I didn't realize how banged up Seattle is, this is a winnable game, on paper at least. We just have to stamp out the run game and keep their TEs from getting hot.

We should be fine offensively. I'm more concerned about our defense. Lately, we haven't been stopping anybody from doing anything. If we can't get that back in track, this'll be another shootout and close game.

The offense is more of a concern after what clowney did to both ot’s last game.

After the first nine weeks of the season, the 49ers defense ranked second behind only the Patriots in defensive DVOA, Football Outsiders’ metric for efficiency. Some of the 49ers’ gaudy numbers were due to the fact that they started the season with an easier schedule (six of their first eight opponents currently have losing records and four of them are in last place). As the opponents got tougher and the injuries mounted up, the 49ers’ defensive numbers regressed.

Though they’re still second in DVOA, the 49ers have given up almost 14 more points per game in their last seven games (26.7) than their first eight (12.8). In Weeks 1-9, opposing quarterbacks posted an average QBR of 10.5 against the 49ers. In Weeks 10-15, they’ve posted an average QBR of 72.4. Injuries to inside linebacker Kwon Alexander, safety Jaquiski Tartt and pass rusher Dee Ford have clearly taken a toll on the defense, but a more worrisome trend the last four weeks has been the 49ers’ inability to take away an opponent’s greatest offensive strengths.

When playing the Ravens, you know you have to stop Lamar Jackson from running the ball. In Week 13, in a rain-soaked game when both quarterbacks had trouble passing the ball, the 49ers elected to go primarily with a scrape-exchange strategy that allowed Jackson to gain 101 yards rushing. When playing the Saints, you know you have to stop their vertical concepts. In Week 14, the 49ers allowed two long touchdowns in the first quarter to tight end Jared Cook on vertical routes. When playing the Falcons, you know you have to stop Julio Jones. In Week 15, Jones had his best outing of the season — 13 receptions for 134 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning touchdown. Of course, those players and concepts are hard to stop, but for a team with championship aspirations, the 49ers have to do a better job of making teams fight left-handed.

Rams’ boot game
When playing the Rams, you know you have to stop the play-action boot game. Yet last Saturday night, the 49ers allowed Jared Goff to go 8-of-8 passing for 96 yards and a touchdown with 9 yards rushing on bootleg concepts in the first half, plus they got called for an unnecessary roughness penalty. To defensive coordinator Robert Saleh’s credit, he made the necessary adjustments and shut down the boot game in the second half, holding Goff to 2 of 8 for 24 passing yards and 1 yard rushing on boot concepts.

Early in the game, Saleh seemed more concerned with stopping the Rams’ running game than the boot. He had his defensive ends play gaps inside of the end man on the line of scrimmage rather than play outside contain. This strategy disrupted the Rams’ running game but left the 49ers susceptible to the boot because it put their flat defender in a bind.

The 49ers defense has dealt with injuries and it’s not easy to take away another team’s strengths, but in recent weeks it’s notable how opponents are establishing what they do best. Credit goes to Saleh for adjusting and stopping the Rams’ boot game. But in the playoffs, the 49ers will have to do a better job of taking away opponents’ strengths early in the game and forcing them to try to win by doing something they aren’t comfortable with.
