I went to Training camp last Friday and I was impressed with the defense :leon:

Bosa looks ready brehs .

Jimmy G looked thin according to my homie I went with but then again, he hasn't seen the field for a game in nearly a year.

I was surprised how close the players came to us to sign autographs afterwards . My homie got a selfie with Kwon Alexander and Jimmy G was feet away from us, signing autographs in a straight line like he was testing his accuracy:pachaha:

does anyone go to the games besides me on this forum or are most not in the bay (even though I really only go to 1-2 games a year at best now)

due to the first 5 months of this year being extremely rainy I expect a warm/hot winter (im talking 90-95 degree days in November  ) i recommend only going to night games at that point because Levi stadium is ass in the day time

I go to about a game a year. (I was at the Rams game last season that got bumped from Sunday night :aicmon: )

I'll be at the game against Cleveland on MNF for sure.

Whenever they come to Atlanta I go. I take a trip out to the Bay every couple years or so to see a game. Last time was 2 years ago when they played the Cowboys and got stomped. This was right before they traded for Jimmy G

so your last memory of the 49ers in the bay was in Levis stadium and not Candlestick :mjcry:

Nah, the last time I went the Niners were in the new stadium. The time before that was 2012 when they played in candlestick. They played the Texans then. T Brock had like 2 pick 6's or some shyt that game.

Kevin O. asks: Your comment about Jaquiski Tartt whiffing on an interception (and allowing a long gain by receiver Trent Taylor) reminded me that the biggest question mark on this team is safety. Any thoughts on how the brain trust will address this question?

Tartt also had a would-be interception slip past him in the practice after the one I wrote about. The guy with the best chance of displacing him at strong safety is Marcell Harris, who continues to look very good around the line of scrimmage. The issue with Harris is that he’s not nearly as sharp outside the box. That’s Tartt’s advantage — he has the speed to run with running backs, tight ends, even some receivers.

I’m skeptical whether Harris could catch Tartt, but here’s Kyle Shanahan’s answer on Sunday when asked what Harris needs to do to win a starting role:

“Just everything, just more consistency,” he said. “You always want the most physical guys out there possible, but I’m always going to take tackling over a guy who can just hit. You’ve got to get guys down, you’ve got to be consistent in tackling, not just a hitter. You’ve also got to be good in coverage and you also can’t make mistakes. There’s a lot of stuff that goes on out there and that goes for all of them. It’s not just one thing with Marcell and I wouldn’t say it’s just one thing with any of that group.”

At free safety, meanwhile, it sure seems as if Jimmie Ward will get his starting job back soon after he’s given the green light to practice. As I first noted in this story, he’s been on the field with the first-team defense during the walk-through portion of practices. The team wouldn’t do that if it had someone else in mind there.

Who’s No. 2 at that spot? Well, in the span of a week Tarvarius Moore went from splitting first-team repetitions with Adrian Colbert to getting most of the snaps to taking all but a couple of them in Sunday’s session. Based on snap counts, it sure seems as if he’s surpassed Colbert, which of course is a big deal considering Ward’s propensity for injuries.

brutal schedule. i'll try to catch some games this year and bucs, bengals, deadskins and cards are the only teams i feel good about. i'm guessing 7 wins as of now. they might catch a couple of teams sleeping but it's gonna be a tough year.

schedule kinda tough, but lesss get it. first game is a must win :birdman:

I’ll be at the rams game in October but I don’t plan on taking a trip to Levi stadium this year. That stadium is trash.
