That's for "certain" immigrants who are on the path to legalization. Most won't have that opportunity. If they are on their way to legalization, which is a stipulation for receiving financial aid, what's the issue?

They're still illegal, but only get considered for financial aid if they are going to apply for legal status. So it isn't just people draining the economy, getting free money as an illegal immigrant, and not contributing.

People are gonna do what they need to do. I live in California too. I know what people do with socials and so on. Its not as easy to get away with it like it used to be. You can use a number, but its going to catch up with you eventually unless someone isn't consistently working, are out of the country or dead. Maybe special interest groups are "raising" money for kids to go to college, but people aren't applying to fafsa and getting grants.

When it comes down to college, most people are going to use whatever resources they can to pay for it. That automatically means they are taking black money and using it for school while depriving black people? I think there are two separate issues here, but you want to make them related.

deserve? no, its not a right for all Mexicans to become citizens, but illegal immigrants in general are here. There is not much that can be done about people that are already here unless they are encouraged to become a part of this society and contribute as a citizen would.

Schools provide education. Public school education is not provided non profitly, teachers get paid and all facilitie employee's are paid as well. The free food and supplies provided by the school cost money as well as school bus transportation. The bill to keep the school electricity, water, and heat are also not free. When illegals attend public schools while not paying taxes it is taking resources away from citizens. When I say taxes I mean federal and state taxes not the tax that is tacked on to your bill when you eat out or buy an item.
