Fixed. Is it $40k after the standard deduction of $12k? If not then you’re getting taxed for $28k not $40k.
That STILL makes no sense... I make 40K BEFORE taxes man... Allegedly...

im not a fan of this plan, its a giant jerkoff for the rich :scustrump:Yeah this is still bullshyt. They tax people more at lower income brackets under the guise they're saving you money
more than half the coli for sureTaxes really should be mandatory for high school students
Also the vast majority of people gonna fall into that 12% bracket but watch half the coli claim they getting taxed higher

Take that 40k deduct 12 for the standard deduction so u have 28k in taxable incomenah thats not how it works, i see other ppl in here making this assumption and i was wondering how to clarify it. this is a good example
so you make 40k, then you get taxed 12% on the first 38. you only get taxed 22% on the remaining two grand over 38k
matter of fact i think this cuts your taxes
wait... I dont fukk with Trump at all but the average american family would be paying 12% in taxes.
Yall magical six cert, 6 cars, 6 hoes dudes ảre in hêre complaining about paying an imaginary 24 pểrcent now.

First 9000 taxed at 10% the rest at 12%
That's like an extra 600 to 800 a monthThat 22% tax bracket is fukking theft.

heres the thing though; the average person pays like 5 grand in state taxes, tops. and this doubled the standard deduction up another 6 grand, so i think that offsets that i THINKYour taxes will probably be a little less than before, but you probably won't even notice the extra $20 or so you will be saving on each of your paychecks that usually are deducted for federal taxes. Unless you live in a Blue State that has high State and Local taxes that we used to get deductions for. Now we no longer get these deductions and we will end up having to pay more in taxes than we had before.
Stay in school brehs. That's like an extra 600 to 800 a month
We
U pay like 3100 in taxesAnd how much am I left with?!!?
