The only thing that has given me the "wow, NOW THIS is next-Gen" feeling is the Matrix demo that was released on the new unreal engine.

Everything else just seems to be a "remaster" of the graphics we were seeing on the current gen. It's like they've taken half a step instead of a full one.

I'm thinking games like the Arkham series, Spider-Man, TLOU, GOW, Red Dead Redemption, The Witcher etc.

The only recent game I can think of that falls in that category is the Horizon Zero Dawn sequel.

I guess you could say I believe there is a lack of "Blockbuster" games at present
