Diablo Immortal - June 2
Mario Strikers: Battle League - June 10
Shadowrun Trilogy - June 21
Capcom Fighting Collection - June 24
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes - June 24
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course - June 30
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak - June 30

There will probably be games dropping during the Summer Games Fest shows. What else is releasing in June?

While I don't agree with the no games narrative, to be fair, most of these you listed are whatever the fukk status.

Right now the only games I really care about getting if it ever does is the ESBC boxing game and tmnt. Besides that I have no games I want to play and might as well go through all these games I already got.

I definitely feel as though the industry is moving away from casual /AAA gamers.

None of those titles speak to me and in fact, the last new games I bought were Spider-Man Miles Morales, Ghost of Tsushima and Cyberpunk which all came out in Q3/Q4 of 2020.

I'm not even bothered by the fact that I don't have a PS5 cause the next-gen lineup is just so underwhelming to me.

Right now there are only 3 games on my radar, Modern Warfare 2 (for single player), GOW 2 and Spider-Man 2 (last two which will probably only come out in 2023)

Yeah, I'm waiting on the next big AAA game too. Those are always my favorite.

I'm not sweating it though since I still have mad games to play and old games to 100%.

I wish you started with this so I wouldn’t have wasted my time reading
Has there been a stand-out game on PS5 yet? Something like Arkham Knight was to PS4?

There are hardly even any next-gen exclusives. Spider-Man 2 is probably the only game that will prompt me to buy one and that's only coming out next year

Plenty.

Get your head in the game, son.

What do you generally look for in games? Off the top of your head what are some of your favorite games? What do you think is currently lacking?

Single player
Great graphics
Engaging storyline
Open World/sandbox preferable
Basically your AAA experience

I'm thinking games like the Arkham series, Spider-Man, TLOU, GOW, Red Dead Redemption, The Witcher etc.

The only recent game I can think of that falls in that category is the Horizon Zero Dawn sequel.

I guess you could say I believe there is a lack of "Blockbuster" games at present
