Pretty much. In those times, respected star rappers were getting beat up and robbed. So I can't imagine how many lumps THESE dudes caught off of this corniness. Getting run out of venues is far worse than people "coming for you" on twitter.

He would come up with the group image and everything, and gave Busta Rhymes his name. In fact, the Young Black Teenagers were originally called Leaders of the New School, but they switched it up.
