....and they were all white:

Like, these whiteboys legit got MTV airtime and ere'thing.

They eventually got clowned to Bolivia and rightfully ostracized for their bullshyt platform, which was something along the lines of " being a young black teenager is a state of mind, it's not about race." :martin:

The dude with the fake dreads (:mjlol:) played Kid's college roommate in "House Party 2".

Anyway....imagine somebody trying this shyt in 2018. :heh:

Yeah totally forgot about these dudes:mjlol: they were Freeport,Long Island:russ:

I think they were down with Publc Enemy:yeshrug:

They were corny, had a very short lived...whatever. I understand where Chuck's head was at and the concept behind the group. It was a risk that didn't really work out but even if it had been great material and completely on point...the world wasn't ready for that

An all white group called the young black teenagers is a huge fukking pattern interrupt. They should reform the group and let Rachal Dolezal do some spoken word on that junt :russ:

Apparently Chuck D was starting 2 new groups, and had them battle it out for the group names. Long story short, Leaders of the New School won the battle. :pachaha: Allegedly.:hubie:
They had one good album, produced by The Bomb Squad and co-signed by Public Enemy. But yeah, they didn't really explain what they meant by their name very well.
Yep this is true. and Camron was on Houseparty 2. I don't know about a battle, but they got the name that was meant for Leaders of the New School. I thought it was bullshyt then but who knows. Maybe they were going for shock value, but their production was tight.

I’ve always heard about the battle for the LONS name. Like everyone has been saying they’re just a gimmick group, had some cool songs/beats but we never thought of them in the same way you kids think about Uzi and those other idiots

exactly.

It's hilarious in this era that there are no concept of 'levels'. The idea that we could bump the occasional gimmick while understanding that said gimmick can't speak for the entirety of the culture nor should be the face of the culture. The false equivalency game is played the fukk out.

What’s this “we” shyt? :gucci:
You didn’t even listen to rap when this was out :gucci:
You didn’t get into rap until Missy came along :mindblown:

Think about that the next time one of you 2000 babies try to use the bu..bu..but they hate wack rappers in the 90's excuse to defend tamogachi 69 and the rest of these face tatted mumbling gay trolls
Exactly

Culture vulturing was always there but cats got packed up and shipped out quick.

Post Malone shyt on rap twice and still here with fans :mjlol:

And nikkas say this generation is bad :francis:
This generation is worse. :snoop:

At least they could rap. :sas1:

The Crunk and Ringtone eras were abysmal but this drug addled mumbling zombie shyt going now is a million times worse and watered down. You can't even speak your mind without being labelled something negative.:scust:

LOL i had one of their albums as a kid.

there was a song that sampled Rush "Tom Sawyer" about making doughnuts. that beat was fukking incredible, yet wasted.

my dog actually took a shyt on the cd/case. so it was put in the trash.

look I identify as Latin. But I'm fukking David for goodness sake. I would never forsake my black blood, bloodline. I feel a need to speak for everyone evolved. Puppet ass people man you create them everyday don't you.

I'm like a whole new human being. To bad I will never populate the earth with my sperm. If not I would be having babies everyday every time I fukked.
