There is not a single rapper who fell off harder than Nas in the history of hiphop (Sage Francis)

I always look at Nas like Shaq. When u look at Shaq. U see the accolades like MVPs, rings, scoring titles. But u just think he could have done more with his career because how dominant u thought he should be. That’s exactly i how feel about Nas.

He had a shytty team guiding his career in his prime. If Columbia released “I Am” with majority of those dope tracks that was made during the album history would be changed big time. But it didn’t and those back 2 back mediocre albums hurt his legacy imo.

Nas doing his thing now and fighting Father Time. Still one of the best. But Just keeping it a buck his prime was wasted. It was never realized at all imo

This is the shyt Action Bronson wanted to be on w/ Ghostface and got checked

But Nas in some shyt right now so it's blood in the water
This reminds me, I was giving Your Old Droog a shot a while ago, listening to his album....and even he decided to talk slick about Nas. Talking about how he should ask him to pick beats for him and he can help Nas finish his album....

What is with these cacs choosing to disrespect the people that they stole their whole style from? :mindblown:

Droog acted like an utter fakkit in interviews when he was asked about the comparisons, saying it was "unfortunate" that people thought he was Nas. Personally I never thought he was much like Nas besides occasional vocal similarities, otherwise his bars were pretty corny and gimmicky punchline shyt (he can rap tho). Either way though a no-name backpacker like him should be honored to get compared to the GAWD.

Man I wish I knew. I'm trying to find it now, but this was months ago and I just remembered. Will update if I find it...

I thought the people that believed he was Nas were dumb as hell, but the influence is obvious. I get its annoying to be called a biter, but you gotta swallow that...

Its because nikkas dont even show respect to legends in the culture themselves. When you got cats like 03Greedo for example openly disrespecting Pac, wtf you expect outsiders to be doing?

Droog was a bytch for that, and I fukks with him. He pulled the same shyt Action Bronson did.

Guys like B-Real and Sadat X switched their entire vocal pattern and style because they felt their original voices sounded too much like other rappers - they set a precedent.

I'm not saying AB and Droog should've, but if everybody tells you you sound like another rapper and you're not willing/creative enough to do anything about it - the LAST thing you should do is turn around and shyt on the dude you sound like. That's fakkit shyt.

Oh yeah, fukk Sage Francis (again).

Just found it, the song is called Rapman. Ya'll tell me if I'm reaching...

"You know I be out late fighting the crime, of rappers not writing their rhymes
Teach em how to be a better beat picker, get albums done and come out with heat quicker
Yo I'm sick of these sycophants that want to make they idols proud
I want my hero to hear me and shyt his pants
"

To me thats clearly aimed and Nas (and J.Cole). Doesn't sound as bad as the first time I heard it, but clearly some disrespect in it lol...
