You’re confusing accountability with “policing”
Holding another grown man accountable is different than regulating what he does.
To me, you can't separate those two terms. Accountability and regulation go hand in hand.

I started to type something out, but I want to know from you or the OP , how far does accountability go? He said it's not absolute but needs applied at some level. Define the level for me. What's acceptable vs non acceptable.

accountability is one thing and its something ados/Black americans kinda already have(i.e: c00n when someone sells out)
but some people like here on the coli and on twitter take things to extreme.

One the motivation is internal, the other is external.
If I set rules, I’m going to have rule breakers. If I find myself around people who have the same moral fiber and ethics, I can steer them when they may deviate

I see where you're coming from. It seems you want to be able to decide what you're going to do as opposed to anyone telling you what to do.
My response to that is... every nation has folks that are in charge that tell others what to do. If you don't have that, then you don't have a society. All you will have is anarchy and chaos.
I’m kinda going off of OPs point and bringing it to the black community. Trying to regulate people is only going to have people unhappy. If you want a movement, you find like minded people and you get moving. Huge difference between wrangling a bunch of sheep and a stampede of buffaloes
I'm one of these nikkas because I know damn well our people will never come together to make shyt change. If we didn't come together with this pandemic and perfect opportunity to capitalize on the world actually paying our problems attention for once, we will never come together.
