Grand Rapids still doesn't have juice like THAT though. There's rich people there and the DeVos family has a lot of pull, but Michigan is still a blue state in national elections.

Snyder getting two terms is one of the most shameful things in that state's history.

People will get a red scare all over again and dude will lose... Its a set up IMO. Scott Walkee could win Michigan etc because Sanders is gonna be labelled a communist and itll be Left v "moderate" in the media. The establishment for whatever reason needs a R to win... Anyone who thinks that Sanders has a chance to beat Clinton needs to get off the loud pack. Bernie is a protest candidate. Basically he is just a democratic version of Ron Paul. Bush may be the Repub nominee, but he won't get the support of hardline conservatives and will lose swing states because of it. The only thing stopping Clinton is her health or economic calamity that makes voters reflexively support the party out of power. Also the Republicans made all of their gains in off year elections. If the Democrats could get their base out in the off years then they would experience domination not unlike the 40's-90's.

Bernie can't even get his own colleagues to vouch for him. I saw Claire Mccaskill call him extreme yesterday on morning joe. They would never let him be standard bearer for their party. Even Obama had titans of the democratic party behind him like Durbin, Kennedy, etc. Its the same reason why Ted Cruz won't gain any traction. All roads go through the establishment on a national level.
