I literally just posted something similar. Every vegan person I meet, black or white, male or female, young or old, usually looks almost “sickly”, and I’m not talking about their weight. It’s their skin and their face.

Real talk, I'm gonna watch those videos. A couple months ago I met this Jamaican brother and he told me he had been vegan for years, he was basically selling me the lifestyle and some Italian woman joined the Convo doing the same thing and that's when it hit me, they both looked sickly, the woman looked like she had a prolonged battle with methamphetamine addiction, and then I started thinking about all the vegan people I have met and how they looked and like a light bulb went off in my head.

That was months ago and a couple weeks ago I brought it up in Convo with my boy and then today I see this thread, this is defo something I wanna investigate further.

How is veganism a thing in 2019?

Babies are born into this world in a ketogenic state because they’re drinking raw milk (Breast milk is raw milk). I forget the substance/enzymes name but this substance/enzymes during breast feeding makes sure that all the cholesterol in breast milk is absorbed, digested and assimilated. Majority of our sex hormones are made from cholesterol. Protein, minerals and nutrients in plants aren’t bioavailable like they are in animal protein/fat sources. Take Vitamin A for example, only available from animal sources especially the prized liver. There has never been a human gather or civilisations that were all vegans. Veganism was only used by Hindus as they considered it equivalent to a fast; it was never their main diet. Hindus/Indians love Ghee and dairy based products. Veganism is basically fasting, it helps cleanse the body but until a certain point when the cleanse is done. The body needs essential proteins, fats and minerals, if it cannot get it from the diet, the body starts to cannibalize itself. All traditional societies cherished animal fats and proteins sources. A lot of fruits and vegetables are indigestible; meaning that damage the gut lining and cause autoimmune diseases. The human body was never designed to run on plants as it goes against our whole physiology. And no I’m not anti-carb or anti-plant but to suggest humans should solely run on vegetation is criminal.

Pescatarian makes sense but straight veganism is injurious.

Give it another 10-15 years and this veganism nonsense will completely boil over. More and more people will be coming out of the woodworks to elaborate and example the damaging effects of veganism.

Can't believe with all the knowledge in the world, we are still stuck on nutrition. Doubting the importance of animal protein and fat sources is felonious.

Drink a cup of raw milk, have some egg laden in raw butter, enjoy your sushi and treasure that rib eye. :ohlawd:

I really wish people talked about this more. Animal protein is extremely vitamin-rich when you look at sources outside of muscle meats. Liver, tripe, marrow, bone broth...people overseas eat this stuff up b/c they know how nutritious (along with tasty) it is. Standard American Diet takes the muscle meat and chucks the rest of the animal in the trash.

:dahell: how can you talk about scientific knowledge about nutrition so vehemently and in the same breath say things like "vitamin A is only available from animal sources"???

You're talking about retinol and there are plenty plants that contain provitamin A.

I know a girl who’s a vegan. She is basically fat and eats just as unhealthy as non-vegan folk.

Vegans are only 2% of the population.
I don't follow sports/records. These are just my 2 favorite vegan examples. You can be strong and grow muscle on a vegan diet. Protein is protein.

Vegan just means one does not consume animal products. You can be healthy or unhealthy on a vegan diet.

Eat nothing but oreos and french fries, or eat a diet full of various whole foods. You choose your fuel.

My sister became vegan recently and she 100% annoying with it.

She's forcing it on her little kids and telling everybody how disgusting meat and milk products are. Even though she was raised on it.

Mind u she stilll wears leather shoes and sneaks Filet o Fish from McDonalds. I personally think she looks like she missing some nutrients but she won't listen.
