How can I be sure that the bank I move my money to is actually black own and not a front for someone else?

I think its time to get this shyt poppin man. I need yalls opinion on the what bank I should choose in Chicago. I'm in Kentucky so there arent any close to me, but I got family in Chicago so that seems like the best area out of all of them.

If you think any bank is privvately owned you need to actually read a book and learn how the federal reserve banking system works.
There are no black owned banks, just has a black face at the door.
All banking in the US is so heavily regulated that claiming private ownership is absurd.

There was a white dude in Hawaii that had a true private bank, he had could printed out his own currency that if you held could be sent to get your gold, since it was a fully backed currency. US government put his ass in jail, money was called liberty dollar.

They accused him of domestic terrorism because people were switching to his currency and starting to abandon the US dollar.

I will definitely look into opening a savings account and move a portion of my holdings into a Black-owned bank, but there are practical concerns at the moment with ease of access (number of branches, e-banking platforms, etc) that prevent me from moving more of my money into one. Unless there is a bonafide national one on the level of a BOA or Wells Fargo.

Keep your money or a portion in a Black bank, then have a 2nd account with a major bank such as PNC or Charles Schwab which dont charge ATM Fees. When ever you need to move money around and cant make it to a branch you can simply write yourself a check from the black bank and mobile deposit it into your PNC and or Charles Schwab and withdraw it from ATM at no cost.

One United is the largest Black Owned bank and they are nowhere near Wells or BofA, but I think they have partnerships which give them ATMs across the country.
