:smh: we low key got shaken up that series but hopefully that just wakes us up for the spurs. Them nikkas is gonna be rusty as fukk the first game. Old people cant just get up a play hard after a long break.

We lost against the bulls the first game because of that long pause :shaq2:
We gotta play like we did this game, attack the basket, put Splitter in foul trouble and shook :smugkang: that old mofukka Duncan can't rotate as fast as Hibbert, and he sure as hell not gonna get them verticality bullshyt pass.:aicmon:

Toughest Matchups for the Heat:

1) Indy
2) NYK (when healthy)
3) Chi (when healthy)
4) Memphis
5) SAS

The East is the power conference now. After dealing with Hibbert and West, old ass Duncan and Splitter ain't gon be shyt. The Spurs might put up a little fight but the hard part is over, brehs. :whew:

We should cruise in this series. :obama:

damn i never thought i'd see the day when i was more scared of roy hibbert than tim duncan

but it's true, hibbert embodied everything that gave the heat problems. duncan is shorter and his shot blocking ability has waned over time, plus bosh always plays well against him.

The only matchup problems I see for a long time is Indy and Memphis. They got them big boys :whew:

The Heat can outplay/outrun anyone but you can't outsize a team no matter how talented they are. I see nothing but smooth sailing now for Bron andnem now :win:

Yeah Indy has that size AND the ability to take away the 3 pt shot which how how Miami neutralizes size. Memphis too.

I said the Knicks because of their ability to hit the 3, and Miami's defensive philosophy is to defend the paint even at the risk of leaving the 3 pt line open. That's why they kept torching us this year, so they were a potential problem.

And the Bulls are tough no matter what. 3rd string PG, missing another All Star, doesn't matter. Thibs gon have his squad ready to compete. We won in 5 but three of those games were close.

You're selling Duncan a bit short even at his age. He is still a damn good defender and IMO has better positioning instincts then Hibbert. Also i think he is still a stronger player, Hibbert is great, no doubt...But Duncan doesn't get knocked to the floor quite as easily as Hibbert does...same for Splitter (when he isn't flopping). Duncan is also a superior passer, something I thought Hibbert could have used when confronted with double teams last night. SAS offense will suffice somewhat as a defense as well, they will make Miami work.

The Pacers are the better defensive team but the Spurs are much smarter and won't turn the basketball over like Indiana routinely did. The reason why I thought Miami would have swept was because I expected a more intense team and I expected Indiana to continue to lose the ball all game long. It was impressive they won 3 games despite that.. but the Spurs aren't going to turn it over 20 times in consecutive closeout games.
