nah breh. remember. at the time, iirc without back-checking boxrec. Taylor had only lost to Pavlik at the time and went the distance in the 2nd fight. people were saying he outgrew 160. he went up to 168 and Froch was unknown outside the UK. undefeated, but unknown. Taylor's camp felt they could take that belt because as I said quoting Tarver, Froch looks like a bum on tape but its a different story when in the ring with him apparently.

Taylor was winning that fight iirc before getting gassed and getting stopped. that fight didnt make me a believer. I thought JT was washed up. when Abraham sparked him, then I knew it was true. So I was careful not to overrate Froch's win over JT. Froch did manage to keep winning for the most part.

so what I am saying is....I dont have Froch in my top 10 based on the fact I think he has great names on his resume but those names are overrated in terms of skill. thats purely my opinion though. if someone were to disagree with that opinion about them being overrated and would place Froch in their top 10, I wouldnt argue it one bit.
He had only lost to pavlik but lets not act like BHOP aint take his soul in both matches, turning his back and running n shyt, quitting, tiring because you are mentally folding, he was done after BHOP, he may have won those fights but BHOp won those wars.....

Exactly why those losses aren't used to slight BHOP never, keeping the 10 point must system out of the equation, if you say to me with a straight face that Taylor was the winner and deserved to leave those matches with any type of face, I'd say you was a damn liar.....

But anyway you know this shyt, stop playing dumb nikka:ufdup:

I wouldnt say Taylor was any more done than he was before BHop. AND I believe BHop won both of those fights....definitely the 2nd. Taylor wasnt shyt in my book. EVER. He was very big, strong, and athletic. He wasnt a pushover still and it wasnt like he wasnt beating Froch but the nikka stamina was :trash: I think Froch is overrated, but its only my opinion. I wouldnt argue with anyone having Froch in their top 10.....with the state of P4P candidates being what they are especially.

also as a funny sidenote: look at how long BHOP has been at the top of the game and look at how quick Taylor came and went :heh: shyt is hilarious. BHOP said they took the bread out of the oven before it was done. Think about if BHOP fought Taylor now at 175. Product of HBO hype machine and just a quick nut while BHOP still out chea fukkin :youngsabo:

I always felt Taylor had the style suited for a JMW, he just didnt have the drive nor discipline to stay in shape

I dont know about that. He was a guy that didnt know how to fight and conserve energy, either that or he had uncontrollable stamina issue. Canelo same way. Manny Steward once said..."everybody gets tired even if you are in shape...its the one who has the ability to fight smart while being fatigued" some guys are tired but they dont let their opponent know just how much and they can fight smart. Toney is an example of this. I dont know if he ever came in shape since early in his career. Most of the time he was out of shape. I dont think he was in great shape when he fought Jirov or Peter.

I would LOVE to see BHOP KO Taylor today. I just hated how that whole shyt went down with DiBella...even though BHOP was partially to blame for it.

I dont think it was a stamina issue, it was a mental thing with things not going his way, earlier in his career he sure let them hands go like he gave zero fukks about stamina

I simply felt this because he could barely budge Raul Marquez, and RM made that fight tougher than it should have been, that fight showed me he'd eventually be food at MW.At least at JMW I felt a taylor could actually move fighters off of him with his pop, he simply didnt have a world class mw pop or strength exactly why IDK wtf he went to 168, thats that discipline thing I was talking about though.....I dont know Taylor is a confusing case:manny:

SN: Marquez was on the way to whipping Mosley ass before the headbutt, that fight should be case and point t how overrated Mosley skillset was
