that's a good point that it's probably better to use amazon because much easier to buy and switch compared to Microsoft.I didn’t…MS (I bought it directly from them at the time) has a 30-day return policy…but looking at some of my old posts, a lot of reviewers had problems within the first 90 days…I forgot how long the included warranty period is for
this time tho I bought it off amazon…if there are any issues then I’ll return it if it’s within amazon’s return period…and if not I’ll just order a new one from amazon then swap it out and return it

Right now I’m working with a 1tb storage expansion card, a 16tb external hdd and a 5tb hdd
My recommendation is to just pile up on cheaper hdds
The transfer rate hdd to the internal ssd is averaging around 1GBPS so a 30gb game only takes 5 real life mins to go from one to the other
As long as you don’t have all stupid big games installed at once ( COD 2K Madden GTA) this should be more than enough breathing room to work around with
Get a solid 8+ TB hard drive with that money you’d use for a ssd
