Thinking about getting the X for Christmas.

Is it worth it?

I haven’t had a system since PS2 when I was like 18. I want first person shooters and the best graphics. I heard Gamepass is dope so I could try different games.

Better than PS5?

The X is great. Plenty of shooters, best hardware.

Better than PS5 is a judgemnt call. I can't say, I flipped all mine, didn't want to keep any. I hate the controller, and their exclusive games have no appeal to me.

I deadass asked him if he wanted a ps5 but he said he can't play Roblox on it. :manny:

Series S is perfect for a soon to be 6 yr old.
Can't find ps5 easily anyways

Dudes ain’t ever lived with a kid in the house before I wish I would give a 6 year old a Series X:mjlol:

Kids that age can’t even tell the difference between 1080p & 4K but as an adult I know the difference between $300 & $500…fukk them kids they got young eyes to compensate for lower resolution they’ll be aight:manny:

You'll have any new/future Halo / Doom / Wolfenstein title, plus Call of Duty (though this is technically also on the PS5 as well). Pretty sure the new Perfect Dark will also be FPS, though that's a few years away still. Haven't really heard anything on Sony releasing a new Resistance or Killzone.

Definitely recommend playing through Doom, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein: The New Order, & Wolfenstein: The New Colossus.. all those were piff :wow:

I own both a PS5 and a Series X so I'll give you a run down.

PS5 - rumble features in the controller, built in microphone that is actually decent in the controller, PS+ is good and they have a tiered service that can work somewhat like Gamepass, also as of right now PS5 does have more games even though both systems don't have a lot right now.

Series X - the controller flat out feels better in your hand, the interface is better, Gamepass is still a better service than Sony's version as of right now, I love how quiet this system is, also it's not a fukking skyscraper like the PS5 either.

If I'm being honest if you want first person shooters you probably wanna go with Xbox, Sony loves their 3rd person games. I haven't seen a huge difference in graphics or performance between the two so far.

If I'm basing this off the future both systems have a lot of potential but it all depends on what you like to play, which if you like FPS games I'd pick up the Xbox and get a Gamepass ultimate subscription.

Disagree on the controller and interface completely for the PS5 and Series X
