Good lookin out on that gold to gamepass ultimate conversion shyt @winb83
tried it for a year to make sure it still worked and it did. turned off the auto renew and I did have to pay 14.99 since I already used up the 1 month trial earlier this year.
minus well do 2 more years before they close the loop. Only paid 46 for the Live Gold code I got from eneba.com
This man was talking shyt like he was gonna sell his XBOX but now that his PS5 in a coma he wanna talk gamepass bargains with the rest of the gang
All jokes aside, the truth is the return period ended the week before I tried to take it back.
So I kept it and it worked out.
The Lord moves in mysterious ways ...
But a new issue came up....my TV can't accept 4k signals (probably why I kept getting green screens on my PS5.). It's doing the same on my XSX except when I put the display on 1080p.
Now my PS5 in a coma and my TV gotta get putdown so I'm coppin a new one today or tomorrow. Time to join OLED gang.
I'm almost jealous. Sometimes I wish I could go back to firing up my OLED for the first time.

LGRecommendations? I had a 60 inch Sammy KS8000 (of course the extended warranty expired last year)
best bang for your buck. dollars to performance its the one to get. LG kinda owns the OLED market right now.that 55" C1 is only 1100 right now...

Based off of what you've got component wise (XBox, PS5, probably some form of sound output), you'd want either the Samsung S95B, or one of the LG OLEDs. Sony's OLED is nice, but you've gotta pay the Sony Tax on it, and it only comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one being your eARC. I know good and damn well you didn't buy all this shyt just to play without shyt like VRR like a peasant. Both the Samsung and LG OLEDs go HDMI 2.1 for all inputs.
The Samsung seems nice, but it's first generation tech (QD-OLED), and there've been reports that Samsung might be cooking the books a bit with its measurables for color and brightness. To me, seems more like Samsung releasing their own product to prove it's market viable before really trying to eat into LG's business with selling/supplying OLED panels.
I'd say anything from the LG C1/2 or G2 range is a good bet. Picture quality is great no matter what you choose. I'd say go for the 2, just because it's newest and doesn't appear to be backstepping from last year's picture quality, but apparently there have been some pretty crazy deals on C1s over the last few months, so those might be hard to pass up.
that 55" C1 is only 1100 right now...
Yeah, that 55" C1 is calling me. Esp at 1100. I'm still keeping my connection in my ceiling open for a Projector once the technology gets there. No VRR yet at 4k for projectors still sucks.
But I'm 75% positive I'll cop that C1 this evening. There's a Best Buy Outlet right across the street from the Regular Best Buy that I might check out as well.
