Feels a little stiff with traversal. Only have 45-60 minutes in it, but combat is shallow. Parry and counter, occasionally get in some licks before the can block. It's not something I'd go out of my way to buy right now if you don't have Gamepass. Art direction is decent though.Anybody try that Trek to Yomi yet?
Is it any good
I really want a Fable "done right". Choices that affect the world, morality system, world filled with lore, a living and breathing world. I'm hoping but not optimistic. However if they don't make the same mistakes Lionhead made by getting too excited about prototype features and talking as if they're in the game, it should be fine. These are the single player RPGs that Microsoft has in the works now. At least that we know of.
- Fable: Playground Games.
- Starfield: Bethesda
- The Elder Scrolls VI: Bethesda
- Avowed: Obsidian
- The Outer Worlds 2: Obsidian
- Untitled SteamPunk Themed: inXile
- Project Belfry: Stoic Games.
- Project Dragon: IO Interactive
What is your most anticipated?
For me, it's the following.
Starfield because I am a space nut. I'm hoping that this fills some of the feeling that I did want from No Man Sky. Don't get me wrong, it has become a fabulous game but it's super light on story.
Project Belfry because The Banner Saga is one of the best role playing game series I've ever played. Seeing them with their biggest budget ever should produce amazing results.
Avowed continues in the Pillars of Eternity world. Obsidian is unique in their RPG building. Can't wait to see what money looks like behind their skill level.
