Microsoft can't get hold of retail Xbox Series X consoles for this weekend's Halo tournament

Even Microsoft is struggling to get ahold of its own Xbox Series X consoles as the global shortages continue to affect the industry.

For Halo Infinite's first Halo Championship Series, the company has had to resort to using dev kits - that is, special consoles given to developers to test games during development - as it cannot source enough retail versions.

One thing I don’t like this gen is the Xbox OS being a double edged sword

It makes transitioning from One to Series a breeze because they share the same OS…..the problem this causes is with game sharing….on Ps4 and ps5 those are two different generations so you can have both a primary ps4 and a primary ps5….that means my PS4 pro got access to all my games offline and my lil bros ps5 has access to all my games offline

Not with Xbox, your home Xbox accounts for both Xbox one AND Xbox series, if your Series S or X is your home Xbox that means neither another Series OR One S and X can access your games offline
