100% this, my og Xbox wifi stopped working after an update. Then various updates fixed it or messed it up again until a certain update just deaded it altogether.

Of course they was like you could send it in but they was bojanglin and then I got a one x and stopped caring. You can still join the insider program without subjecting your Xbox so you can access the betas/etc

The solution is to not do skip ahead and pick one of the other, more stable, vnext preview flights.
