My bedroom Xbox One X updated and I was wondering what was going on....turns out I forgot long ago I registered it into the xbox insider program, and this update was to update microsoft edge to the current one based on chromium.

So because of this, I now have access to the browser version of Xcloud with that xbox.com/play link.....definitely had to give it a go, and very well pleased with the results.

When you go to the website, it automatically recognizes you're using a controller and switches to controller mode...which removes the mouse cursor and you navigate the menu just like you would a normal xbox app. Switching back and forth between Mouse mode and controller mode is very simply, you just hold the menu (start) button and it instantly swaps, you need this as in order to end xcloud games without closing microsoft edge, you have to use mouse mode to close the game out in the top left corner.

First game I wanted to test was Medium, a next gen exclusive that is not available on xbox one. Looked amazing and was in awe I was playing a next gen game on my xbox one

I recorded some footage of me playing Forza Horizon 4 on my xbox one x, and because I'm on xcloud its playing the Xbox Series X version of the game.

This will be a game changer once this becomes available to the public....especially if Microsoft makes a app on xbox dedicated to using xcloud, you can literally try a game before even downloading it, and if its a game you don't see yourself playing after one run, you can play the whole thing streamed to save valuable SSD space.

Microsoft is moving at a maniacal pace with all of this stuff. They are so far ahead of the competition.

This poses an interesting question, then. If they were trying to give CoD some space, how much space do you think they need to give it?

Previously, conventional wisdom would say probably November 18th, because they would want to get the game out before Black Friday. But with GamePass being such a focus, do you think they'd want to maybe roll to the first or second Friday of December to try to put a full month of space in there?

It needs to come before.
