Just a heads up for Mac users on xCloud. If you’re playing on an Apple desktop/Macbook you can only use some 3rd party wired controllers and Bluetooth-only with the Xbox 1 controller. They said they’re working on Series X controller support but for now iOS handles controllers better than MacOS for whatever reason.
I was using the Bluetooth X1 controller but would get spotty input latency. it was much better with my wired Stadia controller, which actually works really well w/ xcloud

This was a good interview. I think many of the others like Peter Moore or J. Allard would have been able to convince Satya to get behind Xbox but I'm still glad it's him that is actually doing it.
He legit plays the games. Like it is documented that he has over 600 hours in Destiny 2. It is this and other things why I feel like he is able to balance the business with what he feels we as consumers want. That's the separation between him and the others. Shane Kim didn't game, nor did Peter Moore and Don Mattrick sure as hell didn't.

interesting…was surprised they still showed my old name/avatar til I realized it only accounts up until 2019…leaves out my 2 best years of gaming…case in point my gamerscore from 2010-2019 was 5505…but now that shyt is at 12700…and I went from 45 games played (2010-2019) to a total of 152 now…my truescore (w/e that is) jumped from 7391 to 18013 these last couple years

Having someone that's actively involved in shaping something that actually really enjoys what the field is, is a huge boon.
I think that has always been part of nintendo's success and hopefully phil can do the same with xbox and actually get a bunch of gamers all throughout the company. I actually really respect him for what he said at 53:49 most higher ups in his position don't talk about that kinda of thing for a number of reasons. Especially on a public platform. So him just bringing it up I respect a whole lot. Usually white people especially men feel really threaten when the topic is brought up let along bringing it up themselves.
