I got to play online with randoms on that Kid Icarus game on my old ass 2DS during my vacation literally last week because so many of thousands of these nerds refused to accept Nintendo's server sheltering that they rebuilt online functionality by themselves in defiance of it.

The biggest cushion for this is that at least 30-35 percent of 360 games are natively backwards compatible, and most of those are the popular games so people don't feel like they are missing out.


As of now no PS3 games are natively playable at all on PS5.


People complained about the Wii u, but 1 hardly anyone bought it to be upset about and 2 everything pretty much got re-released and remastered/remade on switch.


I don't really remember there being any kind of outrage for any of the handhelds tbh. PSP/DS/Vita
